TheVFO · An Own The Algo company
Privacy Policy
How TheVFO handles information across member access, cohort workspaces, billing, referrals, and requested professional connections.
Effective September 19, 2026 · Last updated September 19, 2026
Scope and controller
This policy applies to thevfo.com and the VFO Subscriber, Ambassador, Pro, and Team experiences. Insiders Only Club Holdings LLC, operating through the Own The Algo and TheVFO brands, determines how information is used for this service. It does not govern an independent VFO Pro's separate professional practice.
Information we collect
We may collect account identifiers and contact details; authentication and security events; the offer selected, Stripe customer and subscription references, payment status, refunds, and disputes; cohort role and permissions; learning progress, saved work, goals, and support requests; Ambassador referral and commission evidence; VFO Pro qualifications, Masterclass participation, Request Info intake, consent, routing, and response status; and ordinary device, browser, and service logs.
Payment card details are collected by Stripe, not stored in TheVFO application databases. Do not enter Social Security numbers, tax identification numbers, bank credentials, private keys, or unrelated sensitive records into TheVFO forms.
How we use information
We use information to authenticate members, deliver paid access, personalize the member workspace, operate learning and cohort workflows, attribute approved referrals, prevent fraud and self-referral, route a member's requested Pro inquiry, provide support, maintain consent and suppression evidence, meet legal and accounting obligations, and improve service reliability.
Ambassador attribution
An approved referral may store a referral code, Ambassador identifier, member identifier, selected offer, Stripe event references, collected-revenue evidence, commission state, and audit timestamps. Members do not pay more because of an attribution. Ambassadors do not receive a member's payment credentials or private VFO work.
Retention and deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide access, maintain security and audit evidence, resolve disputes, administer commissions, and meet legal, tax, and accounting duties. When information is no longer required, we delete or de-identify it under the applicable retention rule. Some billing and audit records must remain after account closure. A cancellation does not automatically erase records that must be retained.
Your choices and rights
You may request access, correction, export, or deletion of eligible account information and may object to or restrict certain processing where applicable. You may cancel paid access under the Terms of Membership. Email support@ownthealgo.com. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
Communications
Essential account and billing communications may be sent by Stripe or by an approved TheVFO support channel. Marketing requires a separate choice. If VFO Pro SMS Alerts are later activated, enrollment will require express consent; message frequency will vary, message and data rates may apply, consent will not be a condition of purchase, and STOP and HELP instructions will be honored. SMS is not required for the initial cohort launch.
Security, changes, and contact
We use role-based access, least-privilege service identities, encrypted provider connections, signed webhook verification, audit records, and human approval for sensitive final-state actions. No system is perfectly secure, so we also maintain response and recovery procedures.
We may update this policy as the service changes. Material changes will be posted with a revised date and communicated when required. Contact Insiders Only Club Holdings LLC at support@ownthealgo.com or 30 N Gould St, Suite 3776, Sheridan, WY 82801, USA.
